Role Essentials
3 years UNIX systems administration experience.
All aspects of Operational Sybase DBA: proactive maintenance, backup/restore.
Performance and tuning, installation and configuration.
Application DBA SQL coding, table creation, stored procedure and trigger development, relational design, referential integrity, indexing of tables and other strategies.
Efficient and proficient SQL scripting.
SQL Troubleshooting
AIX - Scripting Admin
Networking - An understanding of TCP/IP and networking.
Extensive Unix shell programming creating proactive monitoring programs for automate ad-hoc, perpetual jobs and multiple environment
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
Crystal Reports - at least version 9.0 - 3 yrs or more experience.
Web - Understanding of web architecture
Java - Understanding
