Essential Responsibilities:
: Advocate the consumer point of view with appliance product teams to support product strategy and development. Product categories include refrigeration, clothes care, and dishwashing.

: Develop research plans to explore consumer attitudes, behavior and preferences.

: Explore price value trade:offs and consumer messaging response.

: Apply research findings to business strategy and help identify implications.

: Work closely with Industrial Design, Product Management and Marketing teams to ensure consumer:centric designs, interfaces and features.

: Work with external vendors to design and execute consumer research.

: Supplement understanding with secondary research as appropriate.

: Manage budget, contracts and scheduling.

: BA/BS degree from an accredited university or college.

: Minimum of 5 years of market research experience with familiarity in both qualitative and quantitative methods.

: Some travel required.
