Role: Technology Business Consultant

Assignment Capsule
As a business consultant for Technology you will: consult with associates in other business areas, identifying business requirements and translating those requirements into system specifications. You will also act as a subject matter lead on special projects, providing accurate and timely analysis, design, testing and documentation of complex systems tasks.

  • Design, guide and oversee the development and implementation of processes which meet the requirements of project owners
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with all impacted business areas
  • Create and lead initiatives for special projects, developing a greater understanding of system and environmental issues in the process
  • Review and analyze results, assisting other business areas with issue resolution
  • Contribute to final decisions regarding the readiness of production installations

Role Essentials
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
  • Demonstrated experience with relational databases, including Access, SQL, Server and Oracle


Role Desirables
  • Master's Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
  • Prior experience in insurance operations background
  • Traditional auditing and data analysis experience
  • Technical documentation abilities


Reporting Relationships
  • You will report to a Technology Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
