This position offers an experienced leader the opportunity to drive the strategic direction in the wellness/at risk domain arena. This individual will work closely with corporate and operational leadership to successfully implement processes that will positively impact on members' health and clinical outcomes.

Assignment Summary:
?Lead the Humana-wide wellness efforts.
?Set direction for current and future corporate strategies for health and productivity initiatives.
?Provide thought leadership corporately for wellness programs and services at all levels in the organization.
?Receive, review, and prioritize ideas and concepts submitted to address member needs in an effort to prevent or limit the impact of disease.
?Serve as the initiative leader to develop concepts through design for wellness initiatives for members and associates.
?Collaborate with Clinical Strategies Leadership, the Innovation Center, and Humana's wholly-owned implementation partner, Corphealth, to transition ideas from concept through design.
?Develop measures of success, including targets for all initiatives and communication of a clear value proposition for all activities.
?Engage Corporate and Market leadership to maximize the success of wellness activities as core competencies for Humana.
?Assist in the training and education of associates for maximum engagement of the sale, utilization, and active participation in wellness services.

Accountabilities:
?Rapid-cycle development of Wellness programs and services.
?Timely completion of agreed-upon project deadlines.
?Delivery of Wellness Services and implementation of new ones that meet or exceed our customers' expectations.

Additional Competencies:
?Project leadership experience.
?Ability to manage multiple large projects.
?Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
?Exceptional written and oral communication skills to:
-Wide range of associates (front-line to leaders)
-Internal and external audiences

Additional Requirements (if applicable):
Required:
?Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Health Education or Promotion, or equivalent clinical field
?Master's degree: MBA, MPH, MHA, or equivalent.
?5 years clinical experience
- At least 2 years with a Wellness or Health Promotion focus.
?5 years Managed Care or benefits management experience.
?10 years of leadership experience in the wellness field
?Proven successful Leadership experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
