Human Resources Process Manager - Vendor Management and Process

Position Description
This is a leader role on the Talent Processes and Metrics team within Human Resources (HR) and reports to the Director of Talent Processes and Metrics. This team is responsible for providing leaders with Human Capital and Financial metrics and performance indicators, early decision support indicators to influence leadership priorities, and consultation and guidance around understanding and interpreting the impacts of Human Capital activities on business outcomes.

Humana's Talent Processes & Metrics department is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to manage Talent Processes and Vendor Relationships. This key role is accountable for the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and mentor a direct report who will work on Contract Analysis, Vendor Selection, monthly Budget Variance and Expense reporting, Invoicing and Vendor Feedback Process.
  • Partner with leaders in the Purchasing organization to initiate new contracts, resolve service issues, renegotiate new terms and select new vendors.
  • Update and manage the Preferred Vendor List and qualify vendors to add to this list by presenting new possible vendors to the Directors of the Talent Processes & Metrics Organization at the end of the year.
  • Solicit vendor feedback formally and informally from internal stakeholders to assess vendor performance.
  • Create Service Level Agreements for vendor contracts and hold vendors accountable for meeting or exceeding those agreements.
  • Create and distribute a monthly scorecard which tracks vendor performance and assesses the costs incurred for each vendor.
  • Manage and control costs in the areas of Advertising and Search Firm Fee's by processing and tracking all invoices for these vendors and reporting out findings to leadership.
  • Design and implement processes which fall under the areas of Talent Acquisition, Talent Onboarding, Talent Processes & Metrics, Talent Outreach and Diversity.
