Assignment Capsule
As a technical business analyst you will: partner with Information Technology and business areas to assist in incentive compensation process. You will implement best-known practices and develop key relationships with all impacted business areas.

  • Be the first line of technical support for our business partners in incentive compensation.
  • Work closely with various IT groups and the operational areas to develop future enhancements of the systems as well as system support for any defect resolution
  • Develop project documentation, including scope and requirement documents, system requirements specifications and design documents for application enhancements and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain data migration and integration processes via an ETL application to support compensation processing
  • Provide performance tuning and system maintenance to a suite of applications involved in the compensation process

    Role Essentials
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • Strong business logic mapping skills
  • Must be accountable and able to meet clearly stated expectations
  • Experience with T-SQL, PL/SQL, or other structured query language implementations
  • Familiarity with UNIX and general programming concepts would be helpful
  • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
  • Working knowledge of database structures, concepts, and database design considerations.
  • Experience with one or more enterprise class RDBMS


    Role Desirables
  • Experience with Callidus Commissioning system
  • Experience with enterprise class compensation systems or other tools to calculate incentive compensation is a plus
  • Familiarity with business ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
  • Experience with Informatica version 7.x and 8.x:
  • Data Integration
  • Data Cleansing
  • ETL to populate Data Warehouse
  • PowerCenter
  • Knowledge of Oracle 9i and 10g
  • Knowledge of SQL Server 2000 and 2005
  • Knowledge of DB2 iSeries


    Reporting Relationships
  • You will report to a Technology Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
