. Eight-plus years of experience as a mainframe developer in an MVS TSO/ISPF environment
. Ability to use technical specification documents to create or modify batch or CICS COBOL program code, SQL statements, and copybooks, accessing DB2 tables, VSAM and data files.
. Ability to use technical specifications documents to setup JCL and PROCS used to execute unit testing plans
. Ability to produce test results supporting unit test plans and attend and support code review walk-through sessions and adjust components as needed
. Interpersonal skills to interface with business and other IT users to resolve code defects during system, string and UAT testing
. Technical skills to support turn manager for moving new and modified components to production
. Technical skills to perform second tier support for production processing issues
. Technical skills to monitor and performance tune production components as needed
. Development experience skills needed to to learn and support system development lifecycle methodology and tools for all tasks.
