Assignment Capsule
This role supports the Humana Medicare regions for all Pharmacy activities. It does this through the following:
- Supporting the development of relationships with the Humana Medicare regions and Medicare Medical Directors to liaison on strategies around controlling pharmacy drug spend and trend
- Providing financial and utilization analysis to the markets related to drug trend and the components of trend
- Participating in regional trend committees and relevant operational meetings
- Identifying the new programs and industry best practices that should be considered as part of core programming

Role Essentials - Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD Degree
- Knowledge of pharmacy practice and the cost drivers of pharmacy
- Ability to work independently under general instructions and with a team
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone and in writing
- Proficient in computers and accessing multiple applications at same time
- Knowledgeable in MS applications (Word, Excel, Access)
- 3-5 years of pharmacy experience
Role Desirables - MBA preferred, or related business experience
- 1-2 years of health plan, pharmaceutical, administrative, or other related business experience or relevant pharmacy residency experience
Reporting Relationships - Reports directly to the Director of Medicare Pharmacy
Additional Information - Work week is 40 hours, Monday - Friday
- Approximately 20% travel
