We're seeking a professional software developer to assist the Human Resources Management System (HRMS) Corporate Systems Team. This is an exciting and fast-based environment. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that can manage multiple tasks.

As an Oracle Application Developer you will:
- Develop high quality Oracle HRMS and Payroll applications to support our Corporate Systems goals
- Provide support for Oracle applications
- Follow formal design process to design technical solutions to complex problems
- Adhere to quality standards and software development process
- Test software as needed
You will also work with group leaders, partnering with project managers to transform business requirements into actual designs.
- Interpret production trends and abnormalities in order to determine root causes
- Answer incoming customer calls, resolving specific questions about specific applications
- Create process improvements for various business segments
- Participate in Humana's Disaster Recovery exercises

Role Essentials
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1-3 years related development experience
- Strong understanding of Oracle and web development technologies
- Oracle Application development
- Oracle HRMS and Payroll knowledge
- Oracle PL/ SQL Experience
- TOAD & XML experience a plus
- MS SQL Server experience a plus
- Software Testing Experience
Role Desirables
- Java JSP & JDeveloper experience
- Oracle Workflow
Reporting Relationships
- You will report to a Technology Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer
