Pharmacy Account Manager – Louisville

We are looking for a high energy individual to fill the role of Relationship Manager, Pharmacy Networks. This role will have important leadership opportunities within the company and how we manage the delivery of the pharmacy benefit within this customer segment.

This role reports directly to the Director of Pharmacy Networks and will have the following responsibilities:

• Supporting the development of relationships with Retail and Long Term Care pharmacy providers
  
• Support the pharmacy network contacting process by developing innovative contracting approaches designed to lower drug costs
  
• Oversee the analytical process required to implement, monitor and improve the pharmacy contracting strategy
  
• Support the Medication Therapy Management team in working with Retail and LTC Pharmacy providers
  
• Participating in strategic planning for the pharmacy organization
  
  The ideal candidate should have met the following education and training:
  
  
• Bachelors Degree (MBA or other advanced degree desirable)
  
• 3 years business experience, pharmacy preferred
  
• Knowledge of pharmacy provider business model and key stakeholders including national pharmacy providers, GPOs and nursing home providers
