This position offers an opportunity for an experienced leader to evaluate and design the clinical strategies in the cancer arena. This individual will work closely with the operational leadership to successfully implement processes that will positively impact on members who have, or are at risk for, cancer.
Assignment Summary:
?Lead the Cancer Clinical Condition Center team to design interventions for all member guidance activities related to cancer, including preventive, acute, or chronic.
?Receive, review, and prioritize ideas and concepts submitted to address the needs of members with cancer, or who are at risk to develop it.
?Serve as Initiative Leader to develop concepts through initial implementation.
?Collaborate with Operational Leadership to transition initiatives from projects to business processes.
?Develop measures of success, including targets for all initiatives and interventions.
?Evaluate effectiveness of interventions in collaboration with the Clinical Outcomes and Data Acquisition team.
?Collaborate with the Domain leaders (Acute, Chronic, and Well/At-Risk) to coordinate interventions between domains.
Accountabilities:
?Concept generation and development for new cancer interventions.
?Robust metrics for cancer intervention projects.
?Timely completion of project deadlines.
?Successful implementation and transition of initiatives to Clinical Operations leaders.
Required:
?Clinical undergraduate degree
?Master's degree: MSN, MPH, MHA, or equivalent
?5 years Clinical experience with focus on cancer
- Experience should be across the care continuum
?5 years Managed Care experience, including cancer program development
Additional Competencies:
?Project leadership experience
?Successful Leadership experience, including supervisory responsibilities
?Ability to manage multiple large projects
?Exceptional written and oral communication skills to:
-Wide range of associates (front-line to leaders)
-Internal and external audiences
?Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
