Reporting to the IT Resource Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating the engagement and rate negotiation for both contingent labor and contracted resources within the Applications Engineering organiziation. They will establish relationships with IT managers and Contractor Vendors to jointly consult on the recruitment of IT Contractor talent.
Responsibilities will include:
- Review resumes, interview, and initially select contract resource candidates for open IT assignments
- Understand local market forces to accurately advise on contingent labor compensation and rates
- Develop and execute rate negotiation strategies
- Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors
- Manage special projects as assigned

Role Essentials
- Bachelor's Degree in Business and/or Technology Field
- 3 - 5 years resource recuiting experience with a demonstrated track
- record of recruiting in the Information Technology field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels both inside and outside of Humana.
- Demonstrated success at utilizing "Best Practice" recruiting methods.
- Strong technology skills are required.
Role Desirables - Experience with the use of an Applicant Tracking System.
- Project Management Institute certification
- Prior experience in the health solutions industry
Reporting Relationships
You will report to a Technology Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer.
