Project Manager - Pharmacy – Louisville

Assignment: Pharmacy Research Center

Assignment Capsule
Within Pharmacy Department, lead strategies and activities related e-health and the integration pharmacy information. Specific assignments will include:
1.Support e-health efforts within Humana specific to pharmacy strategy and integration
2.Lead all phases of project management from conceptualization, needs assessment, vendor selection, and deployment for electronic prescribing activities.
3.Work on collaborative team with Humana's e-health team and external partners to deliver high quality projects
4.Large scale and long term project management including managing deliverable-based project budgets
5.Manage analysis and reporting functions for electronic prescribing initiatives
6.Plans, directs and controls resource allocation and team efforts to ensure project success and profitability

Role Essentials
Success in this role requires:

• Relevant degree in pharmacy, e-health, ePrescribing, information technology or related field
  
• 2 or more years experience in e-health implementations.
  
• Strong Project Management Skills
  
• Familiarity with federal regulations, standards, HIPAA , and other compliance laws as it pertains to data exchange and health information technology
  
• Basic data manipulation skills (pivot tables, etc)
  
• Knowledge of health benefits, healthcare delivery, and physician practices
  
• Strong verbal and written communication, PC skills
  Role Desirables
  While not required, the following would be valuable to this role:
  
• Advanced degree in related field
  
• PBM or health plan experience in related role
